The matter condenser is made for making dark matter. If you unpower the block while it's "compressing" the obsidian, it will save the progress. However, if you take the obsidian out, it will reset the progress. Takes 30 minutes to fully go though one of it's recipes. You have to do that 4 times in all to be able to make the dark matter block.

Quantum Compressor Upgrade	Quantum	No	Reduces speed from 36000 to 12000.	36000 speed is the normal matter condenser speed. 200 is normal furnace speed. This mode makes the matter condenser faster.

Trivia
