Ladders are wooden blocks that are climbable vertically or horizontally. They can only be place on the sides of blocks.

Occurrence[edit | edit source]

Normal minecraft ladders occur naturally in library rooms of strongholds and in intersection rooms with a wooden ceiling. Ladders can also be found in NPC villages; specifically, in churches and houses with roofs which have fence railings. But, the ladders from this mod do not occur naturally.

Usage[edit | edit source]

  • Ladders provide a safe way of cushioning a player from free falling. The player's speed on a ladder is reduced.
  • Crouching or sneaking will prevent you from going down the ladder, but you can still go up. A player's mining speed when holding on to the ladder is reduced.
  • Any mob can climb ladders as the same as the player, but they are not smart enough to actually know how to use it and get somewhere. A ladder directly in their sight will let them climb, but they wont stay on the ladder long enough to get anywhere.
