Beta 1.8 |
Frozen stone generates as a part of the frost dimension. It's texture is normal stone with a blue tint to it to give it a "cold" effect. When mined, you will get frozen cobblestone. If you have silk touch on a tool, you can get the actual frozen stone instead of the cobblestone.
Obtaining[ | ]
Natural Generation[ | ]
It generates in the frost dimension, as the general stone and even in a biome called "Frozen Barren Lands". Currently, it is the only block that is making up the landscape, as for some reason the biomes do not generate.
Usage[ | ]
It's like stone. But you get frozen cobblestone when you mine it, which can not be used to craft anything.

Trivia[ | ]
- This actually was put in Beta 1.8, but was not obtainable in survival or even creative. You had to use TMI or NEI mod or the give command to get it.
- The block wasn't put into the creative menu till the first snapshot of Beta 2.0 came out. (15w11a)
- Before the snapshot versions of Beta 2.0, it actually dropped itself rather than the frozen cobblestone.
