This mod contains an update notifier. This feature has been implemented in versions Beta 1.9 and 1.9.1. Though in Beta 2.0 it was removed, and now only tells you of an update in the chat. When an update is available, a popup will come up once the game is launched with the mod installed.
Layout[ | ]
- On this popup, the window is called "More Blocks Mod Update!" (For some pre-beta 2.0 snapshots, it says "Industrial Technologies Mod Update!")
- Under that it says "More Blocks Mod update, a new version is out!" (For some pre-beta 2.0 snapshots, it says "Industrial Technologies Mod update, a new version is out!")
- The first button is the "Update!" button and when clicked, will open the browser and go to the Minecraft Forums post of the mod.
- The other button is the "No Thanks" button and simply closes the window.
The window currently looks like this, as of Beta 1.9 & Beta 1.9.1 (Some pre-beta 2.0 snapshots have name changes) -
As of snapshot 15w40a, this window has been removed.
In Game[ | ]
As of 15w18a and above, once an update is out, it also notifies you in game. Upon loading a world it will tell you in the chat.
Upon hovering over the "Click Here" part, a popup will appear near the mouse that says "New Update!".
