Didymium glass (Die-dim-eeum) is a type of glass. It's non-chemistry name is welders glass. Welders and glass blowers use this glass because it blocks out the bright orange flame color (or inferred light) and all you see is a small blue flame when looking through the glass. This makes it easier to work.

It is obtained by taking a praseodymium ingot, neodymium ingot and normal glass in the crafting table. It will be smelted in the smelter later on.

This glass does not generate naturally as a part of buildings.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Didymium glass is an actual glass used by welders and glass blowers.
  • The non-chemistry name of this glass is actually called welders glass.
  • This glass is made in the real world using neodymium and praseodymium elements.
  • MCE thought of having where when you look though this glass at fire, the fire would look smaller and blue. But he is unsure how to do this, it maybe be implemented later on.
