Cement is not a naturally occurring block. It is smelted from gravel in the furnace. It is stronger than stone and has a smooth texture. The block was suggested by CrazyGuy, and is the first physical block in the mod (Technically, the MCE626's Block was the first block in the mod).
This block is often used as paths, as a replacement for the gravel paths.

Trivia
- The newer cement texture was taken from stone, and put in photoshop where the "warp" tool was applied.
- Cement is the first physical block in the mod. (Technically, the MCE626's Block was the first block)
- Cement is stronger than stone, as you can tell when you mine it.
- Cement is usually used as paths instead of gravel. It can also be used to reinforce a building.
- The idea came from when the mod was first (literally) being worked on. MCE said there needs to be a use for gravel, and CrazyGuy looked up what you can do with it in real life. During this time, this is when the test block, the MCE626's Block was added, but removed 5 minuets later as cement took it's place.
- Tic didn't physically come up with the new texture himself. MCE626, CrazyGuy and Tic were on a Google+ call, and MCE626 was screen sharing. Tic said the cement should have a new texture, maybe more realistically smooth, and he suggested using stone as the base texture. They were fooling around when Tic said to try the "warp" tool, and thus came the texture.
